Q: How will the Casino Night prizes be awarded?
A: At the conclusion of casino gaming, we will exchange your “casino chips” for raffle tickets, which you will distribute among the Casino Night prizes and a drawing will be held for each. The more “play money” you earn, the more raffle tickets you'll receive, and the better your chances will be for winning. Q: Do I have to be present to win the Casino Prizes or 50/50 drawing? A: Yes and No. You have to be present for the Casino Night prize drawings but you don’t have to be present for the 50-50 raffle. 50-50 raffle tickets are being sold in advance of the Casino Night, so anyone can win even if they are not attending. Q: Which casino games will be part of the Casino Night? A: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Texas Holdem. Q: I don't know how to play any of the casino games. A: That's not really a question. But please know you're exactly who will benefit the most from this night! You'll get a true casino experience in a relaxed atmosphere with dealers who are there to help you learn. First stop - Mansfield Township...next stop - Vegas! Q: Should I bring cash with me to the event? A: Yes. There will be a 50/50 raffle which is always exciting; there will be re-buys for the Casino Night for those who might need some extra chips from time to time; and there will be a cash bar. We urge everyone to please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver for the evening. Q: Do I have to tip the dealers? A: No. You don't have to tip anybody during the night - any service gratuities are included as part of your registration fee. Q: Why is it 21 and over? A: It's a PTA event and there's a cash bar...we have to err on the side of caution. Sorry, no exceptions. Q: Can I bring a friend? A: Absolutely! But we are discouraging walk-ups as we need to plan ahead with the amount of tables, dealers, etc. and we could be sold out! So, please make sure they purchase a ticket in advance-we are expecting a “full house”. Q: Why is a professional gaming company being hired to run the Casino Night? Why can't we deal ourselves? A: The NJ State Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations mandate that a state licensed gaming company must run the event. Q: Will there be food? A: Minebrook Golf Club will offer hand passed, hot and cold appetizers. Q: Are there any sponsorship opportunities from my business or can I donate prizes? A: Absolutely. Just email [email protected] for info. Q: What time does the event end? What time will the 50-50 raffle drawing take place? A: The Casino Night will end about 10:30 pm to allow time for drawing for prizes and the 50/50. Q: I still have questions, who should I contact? A: For general questions, please contact:
Q: How does a question qualify to be on the “frequently asked questions” list? A: It must be frequently asked (just kidding). |
